What our members had to say !

"I couldn't believe Mark's picking control.  Who would think that you could do classical right hand excercises, ala Fernando Sor, with a flat pick"

"What an incredible clinic and concert. Mark Whitfield is in a class all his own in the field of jazz guitar.  What a player. What a bluesy feel. He showed us how to play really fast chording like Django on steroids but with a very modern twist. He did major seventh intervals and ninth intervals with internal movement as lines up and down the fret board really fast that was totally something I hadn’t seen before. Amazing technique.  He demonstrated all his different right hand techniques, pick, thumb, fingers, pick and fingers, thumb and index finger. He showed picking techniques for arpeggios and string skipping. Then he spent a lot of time on chord melody."
